This knock up the middle also drove in two runs with two outs, all of a sudden the Diamondbacks led 6-1.
But what makes Marte’s streak even more impressive is the fact that he has only played in 18 postseason games.
When you examine his overall postseason numbers, Marte boasts an impressive batting average of .350 across six different playoff series – two in 2017 and now four in 2023.
Within this streak of 18 consecutive games with a hit, Marte has delivered eight multi-hit nights.
It is fair to say that Ketel will go down as one of the best postseason hitters in Diamondbacks history.
